Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)

EFT is often simply referred to as “tapping”. 

“But how does it work,” you may ask.

 

EFT focuses on the points along your meridian lines around the head, face and upper chest area. Meridian lines or energy lines (Chinese medicine) run freely through the body when we are well, healthy and balanced.

However, the energy lines can get blocked when life hands us situations we are simply not prepared for.  We then “shut down” in order to cope.  Over time this manifests in discomfort, pain, or even a chronic condition, and a negative outlook on life. Feelings of fear and anxiety, depression, and loss of confidence in your body’s healing ability can be the result.

We start each session by identifying the thought or belief that concerns you most. We then tap along the energy lines whilst stating your concern. Positive affirmations as well as visualisations both are part of the process.

A tapping session often leaves you with a pearl of understanding and relief.  Once the trigger points or blockages are freed-up the body’s own self-healing forces will come into action, accompanied with a sense of peace.

 

Having worked with a large variety of conditions during the last two decades, and with all ages, EFT has shown me that the body’s recovering forces must never be underestimated.

Many tests and studies have been carried out on the effectiveness of EFT. They have shown that EFT produces real and lasting breakthroughs and significantly improves or even eliminates not only emotional, but also physical problems. 

A treatment session covers 60 minutes.  If you are not familiar with tapping I will explain and show you.
