Agnes had a little lamb

The Blue Lamb of Peace

Every morning, the Blue Lamb of Peace greets me when I take a look out of my kitchen window.

It was given to me by my sister on my last birthday. The lamb's family is the Blue Flock of Peace that originated in Venice in 2009.  Since then many cities have engaged in so called grazing rights and huge flocks can be found in more than 160 major cities such as Berlin, Cologne, Hamburg, Vienna, Innsbruck or Luxembourg etc.

Feel free to have a look at the link below.

The Blue Flock of Peace is a social art project to promote mutual tolerance, peace, unity, freedom and space.  Virtues that are so needed in our time. We may find that in many situations our tolerance is tested and stretched to the utmost whether in our personal or our social situation.  The flock is encouraging us to abstain from fighting and also from not giving up either but instead entertaining the thought of making more room for understanding. The more understanding and compassion we are able to allow, the richer our lives can become.  In turn we may see things from a wider perspective that allows for wholeness within ourselves as well as on our planet. The Blue Flock of Peace does not represent that we agree with everything that is put in front of us but rather remind us to hold the space with the intention for peace, differences, freedom and unity.

"Peace cannot be kept by force; it can only be achieved by understanding."Albert Einstein
